Architecture with Google Maps and Skitch
1. In Safari, go to maps.google.com. Type in your destination in the search bar, then go there. Touch the person symbol at the bottom of the screen to go to street view. Use the direction arrows to move and to get a good perspective of the structure.
2. Take a screen shot by holding down the home button and power button at the same time. |
3. Open the Skitch app. Touch "Choose a Photo," and select one of the Google Maps screen shots.
4. Use the cropping tool to cut out the toolbar at the top and anything else you don't want in your final picture. 5. Use the arrows, text, and drawing tools to annotate your picture and explain its architectural significance. 7. Save it to your camera roll or to your Evernote account. |
